What Are the Attic Features of Prefabricated Villas?

Many different types of structures are found throughout our lives. Structures produced in factories, construction sites, mines, and military areas are used in many different places across our country. Among these structures, prefabricated villa models are also used all over our country. From this perspective, these structures offer many different features. We have written about these features and how the bathrooms of these structures are built in this article.

These structures produced in many different parts of our country are built as houses, but they are also produced in different types such as offices, dormitories, or dining halls. The roof engineering of all structures is done in the same way. Indeed, the roof section primarily consists of steel frames. Thanks to these frames, even if snow falls on the roof, it can be supported by the roof.

In addition, the roofing material is made of galvanized sheet metal. However, there are options for roofing materials. These options include painted metal tiles and shingles. These materials also have their own unique features. Additionally, processes such as purlin profiles and area coating are performed in the roof section. Thanks to these processes, the durability of the roof is increased.

Contrary to popular belief, the roof section is the area most exposed to cold and heat. For this reason, materials such as stone wool, which are fire-resistant and provide effective insulation, are used in the roof section. This makes the attic completely insulated and comfortable. The bathroom section of these structures is also as important as the attic. We have detailed how bathrooms are built under the next heading.

How Are Prefabricated Villa Bathrooms Made?

These structures produced in factories offer many advantages to you. Indeed, areas like bathrooms are also produced with liquid insulation. Because prefabricated houses are generally produced with external liquid insulation already applied. However, areas like bathrooms also need to be insulated from the inside. For this reason, the bathrooms of these structures are produced in the following order.

Floor insulation: First, imagine that the structure is built on a flat concrete surface; the concrete floor and the bathroom need to be insulated. Epoxy-based materials are generally used for this insulation. Because these materials are initially in liquid form. This allows them to be applied to the entire bathroom floor.

Plumbing connection: Usually, sanitary and electrical installations do not pass through the floor, but pass through the wall. However, if a drainage system or sanitary system passes through, plumbing connections are made for these situations.

Floor covering: After the sanitary installation connections are made, insulation material can be placed on the floor. In some factories, the floor already has a certain thickness, so insulation material is not used. Instead, materials like crown molding are applied. On top of these, ceramic or PVC coverings are made. Thanks to these coverings, the bathroom becomes water-insulated and easy to clean.

How Is Insulation Done in Prefabricated Villas?

These structures produced in factories are manufactured according to a certain quality standard. The main reason these structures are of high quality and can be used all over our country is because of this. The materials used in their production are also very high quality and durable. Insulation materials also provide effective insulation. The same materials are used in reinforced concrete structures. Additionally, the insulation of these structures is carried out in three different stages. These stages proceed as follows:

Wall Insulation

The insulation of these structures begins with the walls. These structures have two walls: an interior and an exterior wall, between which insulation materials like EPS foam are used. This material is easy to install and prevents heat transfer between the walls. This creates a more comfortable indoor environment.

Roof Insulation

Insulating a house's roof is very important. After all, the roof area is the part most exposed to heat and cold. For this reason, materials like stone wool, which offer effective insulation, are used in this section. These materials are produced by exposing them to high heat. Therefore, this material is also fire-resistant. It does not ignite easily.

Windows

The final stage of insulation is done at the windows. Usually, PVC frame, double-glazed windows are used. The double glazing ensures thermal insulation, and also provides liquid and sound insulation. You can also purchase and use one of these insulated structures.
