How Are Prefabricated Villas Environmentally Friendly?

Recently, when we look around our environment, we see an increase in villas. These villa models are usually prefabricated villa models produced in factories. These villas can be built as single or double-story. They are not only affordable but also environmentally friendly structures. But how? We will discuss the answer to this question in detail in this article.

Factories produce villas that are generally the type of structure desired in our country. Indeed, these structures are not only aesthetically pleasing but are usually garden houses. These two-story houses with gardens are the most suitable homes for the large Turkish family structure. Besides their spaciousness, their aesthetic appearance also makes these structures popular in recent years. Additionally, even a garage can be included with the house. This allows you to park your car or motorcycle inside.

How Are Prefabricated Villas' Bathrooms Made?

These villas produced in factories across many different locations in our country are affordable and durable. Indeed, these prefabricated villa models can be used in many different areas because they are insulated. The bathroom design of these structures is intended to ensure water insulation, easy cleaning, and durability. To understand the bathroom design, we need to understand how the villa is generally constructed.

At the structural base of the bathroom, there is primarily a concrete floor. This floor is part of the villa's load-bearing system. A water-resistant base coating is applied on the floor. This surface provides both insulation and a suitable base for ceramic application. After that, a liquid membrane is applied. This prevents water from seeping from the floor and walls. This is especially important in preventing mold and corrosion in the lower layers of shower areas. However, bathrooms are generally located on the ground floor. Nonetheless, this also prevents the floor from becoming damp.

The application of the liquid membrane is also quite easy. The insulation material is applied with a brush or roller at the wall-floor joints, and waterproof tape is applied to the corners. This prevents water from reaching outside the bathroom or damaging the transport system. The bathrooms of these factory-produced houses typically consist of double layers. In this context, the interior wall is covered with ceramic or tile on drywall or cement-based panels. The middle layer usually provides insulation, sound, and heat insulation.

Looking at the outer wall of the bathroom area, we can find exterior facade panels mounted on a betopan or galvanized steel construction. The floor is usually covered with ceramic, which is the most common choice. This way, the bathroom of these structures becomes much more efficient and long-lasting. In fact, this makes the entire structure much more durable and efficient. You can also purchase one of these structures immediately and have it installed on your land.

How Many Floors Are Prefabricated Villas Built With?

Villas are located in many different parts of our country. These villas can be built as single or double-story. Some villas also have garages added as an extension. The addition of a garage makes the structure much larger and more efficient. Usually, pipes are used for the bathroom and drainage system of the structure. In this regard, PPRC pipes are used for clean water plumbing, PVC pipes for wastewater systems, and heat-resistant fiberglass-reinforced PPRC or PEX pipes for hot water lines. The pipes are concealed inside the wall panels. Thus, they are not visible from the outside, and these pipes pass through the wall as planned beforehand.

The villa also includes a sink or shower tray. Some manufacturers include these products in the house price. Thus, everything is delivered ready as a bathroom. However, you can still customize your house according to your preferences. This includes bathroom cabinets as well. We even recommend obtaining these kinds of customizations directly from your manufacturer because they might be more affordable, and furniture like cabinets usually arrive pre-assembled from the factory. On your land, only connections are made, which saves time.

For the villa's electrical system, cables passing through the walls and ceiling are installed. In wet areas like the bathroom, grounded sockets are installed to ensure safety. Usually, a small window is present for ventilation. Ventilation prevents the accumulation of steam and moisture, thereby preventing mold formation. The overall painting of the structure is generally a moisture-resistant silicone-based interior wall paint. This paint can be in a color of your choice. After all, it’s your house, your decision.
