Recently, these houses produced in factories are being used in many neighborhoods around us. Indeed, thanks to their affordable price and durability, multi-story prefabricated houses have become popular lately. It is thought that the insulation of multi-story houses is weak, but these houses are durable in every way. We also researched the insulation works done in these houses and have written about it in this article.
In our country, insulation of a house is very important. Nitekim, these structures can be produced with various designs from many different angles. However, these houses are built as single or double-story. Besides being solidly constructed, these houses are also produced with complete insulation. Because the insulation of these houses is carried out through a specific planned process. The steps taken in this process are as follows:
Roof insulation: The roof of a house is actually one of the most important areas that need insulation. Nitekim, contrary to popular belief, the roof is one of the areas most exposed to cold and heat. For this reason, effective insulation materials like stone wool are used in the roof section, which are long-lasting. Since stone wool is produced by exposing it to high temperatures, it is not easily flammable, thus increasing the fire resistance of the house.
Wall insulation: After the roof, the walls of these houses are also insulated. Nitekim, these houses have two layers of walls, internal and external. The insulation material is placed between these two wall layers. Usually, EPS foam is used as the insulation material. Since this material is very easy to install, the structure's walls can be prepared quickly. There are many factors that enable the rapid production of the structure. Thanks to this material, heat transfer between the walls is prevented.
Windows: It is thought that the windows inside the house do not contribute to insulation, but all these windows are PVC framed and double-glazed. The air between the two panes traps heat, preventing heat transfer. Since the windows are produced with insulating materials, they also provide liquid insulation. At the end of all these steps, these structures become insulated.
Double-story houses usually have two or three bathrooms or toilets because these houses typically accommodate large families. Therefore, having two bathrooms in these houses is necessary. So, how are the bathrooms of these houses produced? The production of these bathrooms is actually planned from the very beginning along with the entire house. This way, the entire structure is built accordingly.
To understand how the bathrooms in these structures are produced, first imagine that the house is built on a flat, concrete foundation. However, since there are two bathrooms and toilets inside the house, one bathroom will be on the ground floor, meaning its floor will be concrete. But the situation is different for the bathroom upstairs. Since the bathroom floor changes, the craftsmanship and planning also need to be adjusted accordingly.
Let's first look at how the ground floor bathroom is made. On the ground floor, a drainage connection is first linked to the bathroom area. This drainage is then connected to the drainage of the upstairs bathroom. Then, epoxy materials are used to completely waterproof the floor against liquids. Because water can rot the area it contacts. After that, a plaster-like covering and additional insulation are applied. Finally, the bathroom tiling and grout are completed.
After the drainage system of the upstairs bathroom is connected to that of the downstairs bathroom, the house's engineering process already includes creating a floor for each room upstairs, just like downstairs. This floor is constructed with steel frames. Then, this floor is made waterproof with liquid insulation, similar to the ground floor, and covered with PVC or ceramic tiles, with grout applied.
Especially in houses built as double-story, the garage becomes a necessity. Nitekim, if a house has more than one vehicle, a larger garage may be needed. For this reason, these houses, produced at an affordable prefabricated house price, are generally built with a garage included. When constructing the garage, attention is paid to the plumbing and electrical installations passing through the walls. Nitekim, incorrect calculations can cause the entire installation to malfunction.
When building the garage, the size of the garage is calculated, then electrical and plumbing installations are routed. Next, the garage door is installed, and if the door is electric, electrical connections are made. Then, the walls are insulated and covered with finishing materials. The garage part of the house can thus be built very quickly. You can also purchase one of these houses with a garage and start using it immediately.
